Cite Soleil, Haiti
We are partnering with other churches in the U.S. and our brothers and sisters in Haiti to share Christ’s love in tangible ways in the slums of Cite Soleil. We will help fund the building of a school and the provision of clean drinking water. This will also provide jobs for Haitians.
Crosswinds has committed to raising $50,000.00 to this project.

Middle East
Navigators in the Middle East – Ibrahim and Mary Shalhoub
The Shalhoub’s are excited to be called on a full-time basis to empower, develop and disciple next generations of Christian leaders throughout the M.E. Their passion is to see many generations come to know our Lord Jesus Christ, be freed from bondages, and to advance God’s Kingdom in that challenging region of the world. They greatly appreciate your prayers & financial support that is so crucial and needed to “lift up” the body of Christ in the Middle East.

Sierra Leone
Sierra Leone is still recovering from the effects of the 10 year civil war. Thankfully, the new president is a follower of Christ in a country that is only 20% christian. Moreover, he is a fellow Wesleyan.
Some of the ways we are assisting are:
- Partner with the village of Makarombo to provide clean drinking water, sanitary latrines, education, annual clinics, small business, and building a church extension and better road access. (this partnership is almost finished. Much has been done. Thank You!)
- Partner with the Gbendembou Bible School by providing scholarships to students. This is important to the spread of the good news in this region.
- Increase the number of child sponsorships. These sponsorships not only help the child, but the whole family as well.

The Stephens’s will be serving as Volunteer Team Coordinators for teams that come to Zambia wanting to get involved in the various ministries there. In addition to working with incoming teams, they will be involved with child sponsorship children, HIV/AIDS prevention with young people, village development programs (micro-finance), and possibly helping to start an anti-trafficking program to fight modern-day slavery.
