Our Purpose

We desire to honor God, encourage believers, and warmly receive seekers through the joyful and excellent care of our Crosswinds campuses.

Our Core Values

Love: Love is our greatest priority.  Our love for God and others is more important than the work we accomplish. Spending time praying and praising God together as well as encouraging and supporting one another are what we are called to do first.

• Joy-filled, Excellent Service:  When we serve, we demonstrate our love for God by doing so with joyful spirits and with a desire for excellence, believing he is honored when we give our best with glad and thankful hearts.  This service will not be merely confined to this campus but throughout the communities to which God calls us.

Chair Team

Four teams serve once each month and set up an average of 600 chairs in about an hour. Their ministry ensures a safe, welcoming, comfortable environment in which to enjoy worship services and special events. These teams often function as small groups by gathering over a cup of coffee for some community time when they’re finished setting up. contact: vgardner@crosswindsonline.org or 394-5857 x 119

Landscape Team

This team helps maintain a beautiful campus that glorifies God and welcomes guests and attendees. It is made up of families, individuals and small groups who have adopted one or more of our 40 landscaping beds, giving care twice a month throughout the growing season. Four times a year these smaller groups get together on Saturday mornings to work as a combined team, with time set aside to connect, get to know each other better, and share a meal. The first of those work days are open to the entire church family.

Maintenance Team

If you have a love and expertise for repair projects, or have electrical, plumbing or carpentry skills, we would love to put you to work! This team honors God by keeping the entire campus looking great and working properly. contact: sgardner@crosswindsonline.org or 490-9917

Painting Team

This ministry is for the experienced and talented painters or those who believe they could be trained to paint in order to help beautify the campus. contact: sgardner@crosswindsonline.org or 490-9917

Snow Removal Team

If you have a flexible weekend schedule and also understand the value of keeping walkways safe and the facility accessible, this could be the team for you. You will serve on only one or two weekends during the coldest months of the year, but your gift will be very much appreciated, especially by the elderly, disabled, and families with very young children. If it doesn’t snow on your scheduled weekend, you’re welcome to reschedule for July or August, keeping in mind that this is central NY and anything can happen!

Window Team

Even if “you don’t do windows” in everyday life, you might change your mind when you join this energetic team. They appreciate how much clean windows impact a guest’s first impression, as well as their entire worship experience.
