Crosswinds can seem like a big place sometimes and you may not be sure what you need or where to go. It's a lot like the supermarket ...You've all been to a grocery and the choices are huge; but everyone's' needs are different. Some of us just take the small basket for a few things...some need the medium cart for a little more...some of us need the large cart...Where ever you are, Connection Ministries is designed for you.

A Road Map

Guest Central:
After each weekend service Our guests can stop into "Guest Central" located near the Chapel entrance. Hear a brief overview of Crosswinds, talk with someone personally about connecting further or meet the weekend speaker. You can also fill out a "next step" card right here to get things going.

Connect Class:
This class is offered the 1st Saturday, every other month from 5-6 pm, just before the 6:30 pm service. Here you will hear a brief history, our mission & beliefs, but the focus of this hour is to present the ways to get connected; small groups, volunteering, caring, study & "starting point" class.

FirstServe Volunteer:
A chance to test drive one. Many are a One-time only event. Other resources available to help you are:

• Spiritual Gifts Class
  Discover your spiritual gifts & S.H.A.P.E. for ministry. This is a 1 1/2 hour class offered several times a year.
• View the Volunteer Catalog to see all the serving opportunities available.

FirstGroup:
A 6 week "starter" small group to test it out first hand. Small groups help you move from anonymous weekend guest to a connected attender; a place to know and be known, love and be loved, and to celebrate and be celebrated.

Spiritual Development Classes:
Here you will find teaching & resources to build into your spiritual life and you will become better equipped to serve and lead both inside & outside the walls of the church. Classes are offered at various times - many only 1 or 2 sessions. Schedule is announced & advertised well in advance.

Membership:
Membership is a way of publicly saying: "I am in!" A member believes in the Mission of Crosswinds & pursuing spiritual growth. Membership class is offered quarterly.
