Sierra Leone Initiatives

Sierra Leone is still recovering from the effects of the 10 year civil war. Thankfully, the new president is a follower of Christ in a country that is only 20% christian. Moreover, he is a fellow Wesleyan.
Some of the ways we are assisting are:

• Partner with the village of Makarombo to provide clean drinking water, sanitary latrines, education, annual clinics, small business, and building a church extension and better road access.
(this partnership is almost finished. Much has been done. Thank You!)
• Partner with the Gbendembou Bible School by providing scholarships to students. This is important to the spread of the good news in this region.
• Partner with the Kamakwie Hospital by sending rolled bandages, pill bottles and medical textbooks as well as scholarships for medical students who need to go to the capital city of Freetown to complete their education.
• Increase the number of child sponsorships. These sponsorships not only help the child, but the whole family as well.
