Ron Barton was born in Rochester, NY, and moved to Canandaigua in 1998 with his wife, Rhonda, and children Aaron (17) and Richelle (14). Ron attended the Walk to Emmaus #58 here in Canandaigua in 1999 and was saved in 2000. He and his family have attended Crosswinds since 1999. Ron volunteers in the BOX on Tuesday nights, as well as serves as a team member for Walk to Emmaus on weekends to help lead others to Christ. |

Loretta Faben is married to Richard (Dick) Faben. She has 4 children. Dick serves on the Crosswinds staff as bookkeeper. Loretta accepted the Lord as her Savior October 1976. Previous fellowship served as Deacon and Trustee. She received an Associates Degree from Calvary Chapel School of Ministry. She has been attending Crosswinds for 6 years and serving in children's ministry (Uptown and Club 4-12) for 31/2 years. Her passions in life are her Savior, family and sewing. |

Lyle Friel has been married to Jean for 50 years. They have attended Crosswinds for 7 years. They have 5 grown children - Sonja (gone to be with the Lord), Lyle III and Rhonda in San Diego, Kerth and Kevin in Canandaigua - 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Jean & Lyle are currently serving on the Visitation ministry team and on the usher/greeter team and have led Bible studies. He received God's gift of Salvation 35 years ago and thankfully God is continuing to work in his life - teaching and conforming him to His image. He worked most of his career in IT - both programming and management, with a little farming in the middle. His interests center on his grandchildren, Bible reading/study, and golf. |

Marc Gardner and his wife Elizabeth (Liz) were married July 7th, 2007 at Crosswinds. Marc is a graduate of Nazareth College with a Masters degree in Physical Therapy. He currently works as a Physical Therapist at Thompson Health in the Sports Medicine department. Marc has been attending Crosswinds since 2004 and serves as a back-up singer and actor in worship arts. He and Liz also currently volunteer with the youth ministry as small group leaders. Marc’s previous ministry experiences include serving as the Youth Mission Director at his former church where he led a mission trip to the Dominican Republic in 2000 and Chapter President of InterVarsity Christian Fellowship at Monroe Community College. |

Terry Lee has been attending Crosswinds since High School, and came to faith in Jesus Christ at a Youth for Christ rally. Terry is a graduate of Houghton College and Marywood University. He currently works for Ontario County as Director of Probation, and has worked in the field of probation for the last 36 years. Terry has served on the Crosswinds Local Board of Administration for the last 4 pastors. His most recent service has included being past LBA Vice-chairman and Chairman of the Pastoral Search Committee. Terry also volunteers here at Crosswinds as an usher and as a member of the Personnel Committee. Terry and his wife, Joyce, have been married for 35 years and have 4 grown children and 2 grandchildren. |

Bill Mosich was born and raised in NYC. He joined the Navy in 1944 for two years. He attended N.Y. Ag and Tech School in Farmdale, Long Island and farmed in Ontario County for eight years. Bill was married in 1951 and has two daughters and a son. He worked for the USDA Soil Conservation Service for 38 years and volunteered for an additional eight years. He started attending Crosswinds in October 1997, and became a covenant member in February 1998. He has been an usher at Crosswinds for about six years. Bill started working in the Food Pantry at Crosswinds Downtown before the Grand Opening. He has been a Church Board member for two years, and has served in the area of our Celebrate Recovery ministry. |

Joanne Neary has been married to Tom for 24 years. They have attended Crosswinds for 8 years with their three children; Tom (22) married to Grace, David (20) and Sarah (15). Joanne is currently completing her third year of serving on the Crosswinds Church Board. Together, Tom and Joanne facilitate a Bible Study Sunday mornings at Crosswinds. They are also Leaders of a LEAH Homeschool Support Group which meets at Crosswinds weekly throughout the school year. Joanne leads a high school small group for Junior and Senior girls bi-weekly. Her passions include Bible Study, prayer and encouraging other brothers and sisters in Christ. |

Wayne Ohl grew up in Rochester, New York and became a Christian in 1975. He lives with his wife Claudia in Honeoye , New York, where they raised their three sons. Their oldest son, Adam, is an actor in Los Angles. Their middle son, Peter, is a U.S. Marine currently serving his second tour in Iraq, and their youngest is a student in Colorado. The family has attended Crosswinds for about six years. Claudia has taught Sunday School and currently does parenting counseling at Crosswinds Downtown/CareNet. Wayne is involved in the CareNet ministry. Wayne is also an attorney in the area, practicing for over 30 years. |

Michelle Pfeiffer grew up and was baptized in the Wesleyan Church. She has been attending Crosswinds for eleven years and serving on the Board as the Treasurer for ten years. Other areas of serving include the finance committee, personnel committee, Board representative for Wings Preschool and volunteering at the HUB in Uptown. She is a certified public accountant that within the past six months left her public accounting career of sixteen years and is now working at FF Thompson Hospital as the Finance Manager. She has been married fourteen years to her husband Larry and they have three children, Brianna (12), Madison (9) and Mitchell (6). |

Phil Rhoda has been attending Crosswinds Wesleyan Church since 1998. Phil & his wife, Michelle live in the village of Bloomfield. They have two children, Rebecca age (6) Eli (4). Phil works at Taylor rental in Canandaigua and has a part-time home business in telecommunications. Phil has volunteered as the Saturday night coffee host coordinator, Uptown small group leader on Sunday morning, played a part in the last three Easter musicals, helped with summer camps for both Uptown and Project Urge, is involved in inner city ministry with Jacob’s Ladder, helps the Facility Manager with various projects, and is Tech. leader for Celebrate Recovery. Phil thanks the LORD for saving him for his labor was all in vain before he met Him. |

Sue Regis started attending Crosswinds in 2006 after a long period of prayer and seeking God as to where she and her husband could find a church to call “home.” Saved in 1981, Sue feels an intense calling to prayer, both here at Crosswinds and in her personal spiritual walk as well. “Christ is my life, and I have the utmost joy when I am serving Him." Sue and her late husband John were married for 30 years and have three children, Renee, 37, John Jr., 26, and Jenna Marie, 23. Sue currently lives in Macedon and serves on the Visitation Committee for Caring Ministries and the Personnel Board. |

Carl Schwartz has been attending Crosswinds for the last seven years with his wife, Kerri, and children, Ruby Rose (7), Lily Pearl (6), Daisy Jewel (2), and Thorn Sterling (6 months). Carl debuted with the Crosswinds drama team as "Marcus" in The Choice (2004) and as "Simon" in Finally Free (2006). He is a vocalist serving as a Worship Leader in Uptown, as a member of the Celebrate Team and as the lead singer for the men's group PRISM. Carl accepted Christ as his personal Savior as a child and has been involved in ministry throughout his life. He presently is a board member at LeTouneau Christian Camp and in the past has served on the boards of other Christian and charitable organizations. Carl is a local attorney. |

Gary Swimley was saved at a revival meeting in the winter of 1949-1950. He was graduated from (then) Mansfield State Teachers College in Pennsylvania and Alfred University and taught school for a number of years. His remaining career until retirement was spent as a computer programmer and group leader ending with a pharmaceutical company in Rochester. He and his wife, Esther, joined Crosswinds in 1983. They have three grown children. Gary has served on the Board since about 1986, and is also a member of the Entertainment and Global Missions Committees. |

Craig (Sarge) Wetherby started attending Crosswinds in 2002, and subsequently became a covenant member. He has been married to Lisa for 6 1/2 years and has two adult stepdaughters. Sarge accepted Christ as his Savior in 1995 and actively shares his faith with every opportunity presented. He currently serves on the Exalt Worship Team the first Saturday of every month by preparing meals for the team. Sarge’s previous church leadership experiences before coming to Crosswinds includes serving on a Leadership Board and Trustee Committee, as well serving as chairman of the Staff Parish Relations Committee and Care & Connect Ministry. He also previously served as a lay minister and lay speaker. Sarge is the manager of the Mill Department at Ingleside Machine, Inc., where he has worked for 27 years. |
